Health Care Assistant

Abode wishes to recruit a vibrant and enthusiastic health care assistant to join our team, supporting adults with physical and sensory disabilities at Abode Day Centre, Skehard Road, Blackrock, Cork.

Successful Candidates will be flexible in their approach to their working day and have a good knowledge of New Directions and the person-centred planning framework.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience of working with people with disabilities
• Minimum qualification - QQI level 5 healthcare qualification or equivalent
• Full clean manual driver’s license
• References
• Garda Clearance
• Desirable skills - Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, teamwork
