Community Employment Supervisor – Full-Time

Ballynanty Community Project CLG is seeking a dynamic and experienced Community Employment Supervisor to lead and manage our CE Scheme, supporting long-term unemployed individuals through meaningful placements and tailored development plans.

About the Role

This full-time position (39 hours/week) involves overseeing all aspects of the CE Project, including recruitment, training coordination, participant support, compliance, and interagency collaboration. You’ll work closely with Northside Family Resource Centre and report to the Sponsoring Management Committee.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, contracts, and participant schedules
• Develop Individual Learner Plans and coordinate training
• Monitor compliance with CE Operating Procedures
• Support participants in job search and progression
• Liaise with employers, statutory bodies, and community services
• Maintain records, prepare reports, and ensure safe work practices

Essential Requirements

• 3+ years supervisory experience in community development, training, or project management
• Strong skills in HR, financial administration, and mentoring
• Excellent communication, report writing, and ICT skills
• NFQ Level 6 qualification or higher in a relevant field
• Garda Vetting and full clean driver’s licence required

Desirable Experience

• Working with voluntary boards, vulnerable groups, and diverse communities
• Payroll management and post-graduate qualifications

Terms

• 39 hours/week, Monday–Friday (flexibility required)
• 21 days annual leave + public holidays
• Pension scheme subject to DSP guidelines
• Six-month probation period
• Based across Northside Limerick sites
