80:20 Educating and Acting for a Better World is an Irish-based registered charity founded in 1996 promoting popular education on human development and human rights.

For 80:20, education is fundamental to understanding the shape and nature of our unequal world, to interacting with that world as well as to imagining and shaping a different world. Education does this in 3 important ways:

When we understand what is going in our world our range of choices increase.

Abhaile Arís

Abhaile Arís based in Letterkenny, County Donegal, works with the Republican ex-Prisoner community to bring about their acceptance as equal members of Irish society. It is also our function to engage actively in discussions and projects with other community based groupings. Since our inception in 1998 we have initiated and played a leading role in many joint community-based projects whilst contributing positively with our time and resources to many more.

ACCORD

ACCORD is a voluntary Catholic organisation that aims to promote a deeper understanding of Christian marriage and to offer people the means to safeguard and nourish their marriage and family relationships.

Our aim is to help couples prepare for, achieve and sustain their marriage and family relationships, to offer ongoing relationship support and assist them in times of difficulty or crisis.
Our core services are Marriage and Relationship Counselling and Marriage Preparation Programmes.

ACET

ACET in Ireland is a leading provider of Health Education, Training and Community Care Projects. Founded in 1990 as an interdenominational Christian response to HIV/AIDS, ACET now offers a wide range of services on HIV/AIDS and the related issues of Drug Use & Misuse, Relationships and Sexual Health.

ACET is the only cross border agency in Ireland working in the area of HIV/AIDS and related issues. The partnership comprises ACET (Northern Ireland) established in Belfast in 1990 and ACET (Republic of Ireland) established in Dublin in 1992.

Actionaid

Actionaid's mission is to alleviate poverty and deprivation in developing countries by starting and supporting programmes and projects which will enable local communities to break out of the cycle of poverty.

Thus, Actionaid helps communities create the means to increase wealth and opportunities, and to do so in ways which are sustainable by the community and genuinely meet its needs.

Active Retirement Ireland

Active Retirement Ireland (ARI) is a national membership organisation that aims to enable older people to lead a full, happy and healthy life through a range of opportunities organised by local older people themselves through local Active Retirement Associations.

ARI has a membership of 457 local associations.

Membership of the local associations is open to retired men and women over the age of 55 years. Our philosophy is based on older people doing things for themselves.

Adapt Services

A women's refuge and support service that provides safe, emergency shelter and support to women and their children who are subjected to domestic abuse.

Open all year round; provides a 24 hour helpline service, counselling for women and ongoing outreach support. Information and help in relation to housing, legal aid, education, money matters, etc., also available.

ADHD Ireland

ADHD Ireland’s mission is to make life better for people affected by ADHD. We are dedicated to providing up-to-date information, resources and networking opportunities to individuals with ADHD, parents of children with ADHD and the professionals who serve them. We provide support and advice through our phone line and emails, send out information, produce publications, organise information sessions, run Solution Focussed Brief Therapy courses for young people, run parenting courses, work to raise awareness of the condition and contribute to research.

Adlerian Network of Ireland

The aim of the Adlerian Network of Ireland is to promote the understanding and application of Adlerian Psychology. The ANI acts as a coordinating body for two committees which function under its umbrella. These are the Summer School Committee and the South Tipperary Parent Network.
