We're Hiring: Trainee Chef

Contract Type: 12 months fiixed term
Hours: Part-Time 25 hours
Salary: €17,866.66 per annum

Northside FRC is looking for a motivated Trainee Chef to join our kitchen team. This hands-on role supports two vital services: our Meals on Wheels programme for older people and our Childcare Kitchen, which provides nutritious meals to children in our early years services.

What You’ll Do:

• Help prepare and cook meals for older people and children
• Learn HACCP and food safety procedures
• Keep kitchen areas clean and organised
• Portion, label, and package meals
• Assist with deliveries and stock rotation
• Work closely with childcare staff to meet dietary needs
