This post has responsibility for direct work with children & families referred to the service. It will involve one-to-one intensive interventions supporting parents & children following difficult life events, as well as collaborative interagency delivery of some group work as required.

The Deputy Manager will report to the Regional Manager and will be responsible for supporting the Regional Manager with the management of all services across Cork and Kerry. The Deputy Manager will be appointed specific Team Leaders within the region to directly manage.

The WWGS Education Officer (EO) based in Connaught will have responsibility for supporting WWGS schools in Connaught and a number of counties in the Midlands region to engage in and deepen their understanding of the role of Global Citizenship Education at post-primary.

Applicants should have a relevant qualification at minimum QQI Level 5, for e.g. Advanced Certificate in Administration, Business Administration or similar qualification. Office management experience, organisational and secretarial skills. This role is 21 hours per week.

Successful applicants will have education to Degree standard (Level 7) preferably in Youth Work / Youth Justice / Drugs & Alcohol / Health Promotion Work (note: candidates with exceptional, relevant work experience may also be considered in lieu of degree qualifications).
