NWCDP works in partnership with statutory, voluntary, and community stakeholders to ensure the North Wall area continues to grow as a strong, resilient community.

About Little Treasures Childcare

Little Treasures is the early years’ service within NWCDP, providing high-quality, affordable, and accessible childcare to local families. Our service is child-centred, nurturing, and inclusive, with a strong focus on supporting children’s holistic development. We also work closely with parents and guardians to ensure the best outcomes for each child.

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a full-time childcare position (35 hours per week, contract) within Little Treasures Childcare. The successful candidate will work as part of our dedicated childcare team, contributing to the planning, delivery, and evaluation of a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for children.

Key Duties will include:

  • Supporting the daily care, education, and wellbeing of children in the service
  • Implementing child-centred activities in line with Aistear and Síolta frameworks
  • Working as part of a professional, supportive team
  • Ensuring compliance with Tusla regulations and organisational policies
  • Engaging positively with parents/guardians and the wider community

Contract & Hours

  • Contract: 35 hours per week
  • Location: Little Treasures Childcare, North Wall CDP
  • Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience

Person Specification

  • A recognised childcare qualification (minimum QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care & Education required; Level 6 or higher desirable)
  • Experience working in an early years setting is an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Commitment to child protection, equality, and inclusive practice
