A women's refuge and support service that provides safe, emergency shelter and support to women and their children who are subjected to domestic abuse.

Open all year round; provides a 24 hour helpline service, counselling for women and ongoing outreach support. Information and help in relation to housing, legal aid, education, money matters, etc., also available.


Established in 2001 AkiDwA is a network of African and migrant women living in Ireland.

CARI (Children at Risk in Ireland) Foundation

The CARI Foundation is a registered charity founded in 1989. Our primary aim is to provide a professional, child centred therapy and counselling service to children, families, and groups who have been affected by child sexual abuse.

Alongside this we aim to provide the most up to date education and information service for children, adults and professionals on the dynamics of child sexual abuse, and, moreover, to raise public and political awareness of these issues.

Clare Haven Services

Clare Haven Services is a voluntary organisation set up in 1993 to provide accommodation, information, services and support to women and their children who are being physically, emotionally and sexually abused in their homes. Emergency, short-term safety can be secured in the 6 unit refuge. Information, support and guidance can be sought in 6 outreach clinics throughout County Clare or drop-in service in Ennis. Children & Young people's needs can be addressed in a broad suite of services including childcare, intervention programmes, counselling and parenting support.

Galway Rape Crisis Centre

Galway Rape Crisis Centre has been in operation since 1984.

We aim to provide a quality counselling and support service for survivors of sexual violence and abuse. We aim to work towards an end to cultural and societal tolerance of sexual violence and abuse. We work from a feminist philosophy.

The Kerry Rape & Sexual Abuse Centre is a place of help and holistic healing for survivors of sexual violence, offering care & support in a safe and confidential environment.

Kilkenny Rape Crisis & Sexual Abuse Counselling Centre

The Kilkenny Rape Crisis & Sexual Abuse Counselling Centre will provide a counselling service sensitive to the needs of all survivors of sexual violence/abuse, rape child sexual abuse and sexual harassment, which is empowering non-judgemental and consistent in approach that promotes the safety, privacy and dignity of survivors.

Support will also be offered to their non-abusive family members, partners and friends.
