3Ts (Turn the Tide of Suicide)

Mission Statement / Aims & Objectives / Areas of Work: 3Ts is a registered charity (no 20054878 / CHY15710) founded in 2003 to raise awareness of the issue of suicide in Ireland and help prevent future deaths by suicide through dedicated research, education and support.


ACET in Ireland is a leading provider of Health Education, Training and Community Care Projects. Founded in 1990 as an interdenominational Christian response to HIV/AIDS, ACET now offers a wide range of services on HIV/AIDS and the related issues of Drug Use & Misuse, Relationships and Sexual Health.

ACET is the only cross border agency in Ireland working in the area of HIV/AIDS and related issues. The partnership comprises ACET (Northern Ireland) established in Belfast in 1990 and ACET (Republic of Ireland) established in Dublin in 1992.


ADHD Ireland

ADHD Ireland’s mission is to make life better for people affected by ADHD. We are dedicated to providing up-to-date information, resources and networking opportunities to individuals with ADHD, parents of children with ADHD and the professionals who serve them. We provide support and advice through our phone line and emails, send out information, produce publications, organise information sessions, run Solution Focussed Brief Therapy courses for young people, run parenting courses, work to raise awareness of the condition and contribute to research.

Adlerian Network of Ireland

The aim of the Adlerian Network of Ireland is to promote the understanding and application of Adlerian Psychology. The ANI acts as a coordinating body for two committees which function under its umbrella. These are the Summer School Committee and the South Tipperary Parent Network.

Alcohol Action Ireland

Alcohol Action Ireland was established in 2003 and is the national independent advocate for reducing alcohol harm.

We campaign for the burden of alcohol harm to be lifted from the individual, community and State, and have a strong track record in campaigning, advocacy, research and information provision.

Our work involves providing information on alcohol-related issues, creating awareness of alcohol-related harm and offering policy solutions with the potential to reduce that harm, with a particular emphasis on the implementation of the Public Health (Alcohol) Act.

All Ireland Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care (AIIHPC)

All Ireland Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care (AIIHPC) is a leading organisation with national and international influence driving excellence in palliative care. AIIHPC is a collaborative of hospices, health and social care organisations and universities on the island of Ireland. AIIHPC advances education, research, policy and practice to improve the palliative care experience of people with life limiting conditions and their families. Alzheimer Society

The Alzheimer Society is a national organisation with branches throughout Ireland.

Each branch can provide information and emotional support to families and carers.

Day Care and Home Support/Home Care is also co-ordinated by the local branch committee.

The Alzheimer Society of Ireland has set up a National Helpline which is, first and foremost, a listening ear for the thousands of carers of people with Alzheimer's Disease or a related dementia who call for information and support every year.

ARC Cancer Support Centres

At ARC our goal is to provide psychological, emotional, educational and practical support in a warm and welcoming environment to people with cancer and those who care for them. We give you the support that you need to enhance your coping skills and improve your quality of life.  Our services are confidential, professional and caring, and are provided free of charge. We support clients throughout Ireland.

Arthritis Ireland

Arthritis Ireland (formerly the Arthritis Foundation of Ireland) was established in 1981. It is the only national charity dedicated to further Research and Education for this common condition.

The organisation relies entirely on voluntary contributions. The success of our programmes depends solely on the money raised.

ASH Ireland

ASH Ireland informs, educates and campaigns on tobacco use

ASH Ireland is focused on reducing the impact of tobacco use in Irish society. Approximately 5,500 Irish citizens die each year from the effects of tobacco related disease – and ASH Ireland is determined to reduce this staggering statistic. The organisation uses its independence to focus on “the issue” and ensures it is never compromised.
