Mission Statement / Aims & Objectives / Areas of Work: 3Ts is a registered charity (no 20054878 / CHY15710) founded in 2003 to raise awareness of the issue of suicide in Ireland and help prevent future deaths by suicide through dedicated research, education and support.

ACET

ACET in Ireland is a leading provider of Health Education, Training and Community Care Projects. Founded in 1990 as an interdenominational Christian response to HIV/AIDS, ACET now offers a wide range of services on HIV/AIDS and the related issues of Drug Use & Misuse, Relationships and Sexual Health.

ACET is the only cross border agency in Ireland working in the area of HIV/AIDS and related issues. The partnership comprises ACET (Northern Ireland) established in Belfast in 1990 and ACET (Republic of Ireland) established in Dublin in 1992.

ADHD Ireland

ADHD Ireland’s mission is to make life better for people affected by ADHD. We are dedicated to providing up-to-date information, resources and networking opportunities to individuals with ADHD, parents of children with ADHD and the professionals who serve them. We provide support and advice through our phone line and emails, send out information, produce publications, organise information sessions, run Solution Focussed Brief Therapy courses for young people, run parenting courses, work to raise awareness of the condition and contribute to research.

Adlerian Network of Ireland

The aim of the Adlerian Network of Ireland is to promote the understanding and application of Adlerian Psychology. The ANI acts as a coordinating body for two committees which function under its umbrella. These are the Summer School Committee and the South Tipperary Parent Network.

Alzheimer Society

The Alzheimer Society is a national organisation with branches throughout Ireland.

Each branch can provide information and emotional support to families and carers.

Day Care and Home Support/Home Care is also co-ordinated by the local branch committee.

The Alzheimer Society of Ireland has set up a National Helpline which is, first and foremost, a listening ear for the thousands of carers of people with Alzheimer's Disease or a related dementia who call for information and support every year.

Mission Statement: To empower amputees to achieve independence, participation, social and occupational integration in the life of the community.

Our Aim is to provide a holistic, best practice support system for all amputees in Ireland.

ARC Cancer Support Centre

Standing for Aftercare Research Counselling, ARC Cancer Support Centre is a voluntary organisation and registered charity.

ARC House offers suppport to people affected by cancer and those who care about them. This suppport is holistic and complements the primary medical treatment with education and psychological care.

Arthritis Ireland

Arthritis Ireland (formerly the Arthritis Foundation of Ireland) was established in 1981. It is the only national charity dedicated to further Research and Education for this common condition.

The organisation relies entirely on voluntary contributions. The success of our programmes depends solely on the money raised.

ASH Ireland

ASH Ireland informs, educates and campaigns on tobacco use

ASH Ireland is focused on reducing the impact of tobacco use in Irish society. Approximately 5,500 Irish citizens die each year from the effects of tobacco related disease – and ASH Ireland is determined to reduce this staggering statistic. The organisation uses its independence to focus on “the issue” and ensures it is never compromised.

Asthma Society of Ireland

The purpose of the Asthma Society is to provide information, advice and reassurance to people with asthma and their families, to act as advocate / representative for them, and to promote awareness and understanding of the condition amongst the general public. The Society is working towards a situation where people with asthma can realise their full potential, and not be at a disadvantage health-wise, socially or financially.
