ACCORD

ACCORD is a voluntary Catholic organisation that aims to promote a deeper understanding of Christian marriage and to offer people the means to safeguard and nourish their marriage and family relationships.

Our aim is to help couples prepare for, achieve and sustain their marriage and family relationships, to offer ongoing relationship support and assist them in times of difficulty or crisis.
Our core services are Marriage and Relationship Counselling and Marriage Preparation Programmes.

Adlerian Network of Ireland

The aim of the Adlerian Network of Ireland is to promote the understanding and application of Adlerian Psychology. The ANI acts as a coordinating body for two committees which function under its umbrella. These are the Summer School Committee and the South Tipperary Parent Network.

Aonad Resource Centre

Aonad Resource Centre opened its doors in February 2003. It has since become progressively busier as the rural community of North East Galway explore the supports and services that we can provide.

Artane Coolock Resource & Development Centre Ltd

Artane Coolock Resource & Development Centre aims to support and encourage active participation and community involvement, so that people can determine their own needs and develop suitable responses to
these needs.

We will strive to promote equality under the nine grounds of the equality legislation.

Ethos of the Resource Centre:

Athy Community & Family Resource Centre

The FRC programme is Ireland’s largest family support programme delivering universal services to families in disadvantaged areas across the country based on a life-cycle approach. The programme emphasises involving local communities in tackling the problems they face, and creating successful partnerships between voluntary and statutory agencies at community level. FRCs are participative and empowering organisations that support families while building the capacity and leadership of local communities.

Baby Friendly Health Initiative in Ireland (BFHI)

Baby Friendly Health Initiative in Ireland (BFHI) is a registered charity active since 1998 and serves as the National Authority for the WHO/UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative in Ireland. All maternity units participate in the BFHI in Ireland.

The main object for which the BFHI is established is to benefit the community by encouraging and supporting health-promoting practices towards ensuring a breastfeeding supportive health care environment which fosters life-long health for infants and their mothers.

Bluestack Foundation

The Bluestack Special Needs Foundation was established in 2006. It is a voluntary organization run predominantly by parents of children with special needs and professionals who work in the field.  Its mission is two fold, to enhance the lives of people with special needs and to support families with a special need dependent.

We run a range of programmes and supports for people in the north west. We try to act as an initial supportive contact for families.

 

Boherbue Educare Centre.

Boherbue Educare Centre provides an integrated community based approach to childcare, so as to cater for the needs and aspirations of parents and children.

Boherbue Educare is a community based group whose aim is to promote equality of opportunity, self development, social inclusion, and a better community by enabling and empowering parents and by providing quality education and care for children.

Childcare Online

Dublin City Childcare Committee (DCCC) is one of 33 County and City Childcare Committee’s established throughout the country.

It is made up of a central office and 5 Local Childcare Resource Centres (LCRC’s). DCCC and the 5 LCRC’s offer information and supports to parents, providers of childcare, childcare workers, home based childminders and employers.
