A women's refuge and support service that provides safe, emergency shelter and support to women and their children who are subjected to domestic abuse.

Open all year round; provides a 24 hour helpline service, counselling for women and ongoing outreach support. Information and help in relation to housing, legal aid, education, money matters, etc., also available.


Advocates (Ad) who campaign for greater rights for Victims (VIC) of Homicide, their families and friends. We bring together families bereaved by homicide including those affected by Murder, Manslaughter and Fatal Assault.

AdVIC is a national non-profit, non-government funded charitable organisation. We were founded in 2005 by a group of families trying to cope with the unlawful killing of a family member. We at AdVIC understand the issues faced by families following the homicide of their loved ones, as all our members have suffered a similar tragedy.

AIMS Ireland - Association for Improvements in the Maternity Services

AIMS Ireland is a voluntary organisation that was formed in early 2007 by mothers dissatisfied with the Maternity Care System and ready to campaign for changes.

Our goal is to highlight and support normal birth and mother-friendly birth practices in Ireland.

We are a consumer led, campaign pressure group operating with a self-regulating committee elect and a body of members consisting of parents, consumers, health care professionals, and support group representatives throughout Ireland.

We offer free, independent, confidential support to women and their families.

American Women's Club of Dublin

Founded in 1972, the AWCD has been part of the Irish Community for over 45 years.  We have a large and diverse membership who share experiences, interests, and a commitment to be part of the community here in Ireland.

Catherine McAuley Centre

The Catherine McAuley Centre is dedicated to the development, education and well being of women who are most at need in today's society.

Consistent with Gospel values and the vision of Catherine, the Centre seeks to identify areas of need which are not being reached by other groups and to address them in a collaborative and participative way.

In pursuance of its aims the Centre co-operates with bodies doing similar work both nationally and internationally.

Clare Haven Services

Clare Haven Services is a voluntary organisation set up in 1993 to provide accommodation, information, services and support to women and their children who are being physically, emotionally and sexually abused in their homes. Emergency, short-term safety can be secured in the 6 unit refuge. Information, support and guidance can be sought in 6 outreach clinics throughout County Clare or drop-in service in Ennis. Children & Young people's needs can be addressed in a broad suite of services including childcare, intervention programmes, counselling and parenting support.

COPE Galway

COPE Galway is a community based voluntary organisation which enables the people of Galway to recognise and address the challenges posed by inequality and isolation in society.

COPE Galway works closely with partners in the community to provide targeted services - including a refuge for women and children affected by domestic violence, accommodation for homeless people and sustenance and social supports for older people at home.


Crime Victims Helpline

Crime Victims Helpline is a National Helpline which offers support to victims of crime in Ireland. Established in 2005 our aim is to support, inform and empower victims of crime and all those affected by crime.

Our trained volunteers take calls as follows:
Monday 10.00 to 19.30
Tuesday to Friday 10.00 to 17.00
Saturday 14.00 to 16.00
