Established in 2001 AkiDwA is a network of African and migrant women living in Ireland.

To promote equality and justice for migrant women living in Ireland.

Alice Leahy Trust

Alice Leahy Trust is a non-political,non-denominational voluntary body set up in 1975 as a private charitable trust (Charity No.CHY7014) to provide medical and related services for people who are homeless.

We work in premises provided at a nominal rent by the Iveagh Trust. Up to 30 men and women call each morning, the majority of whom are sleeping out (age 18 to 85). We see new people daily and often have people calling who were housed - settled- and become homeless again.

ALISON

ALISON - the Global Learning Experience - is a FREE learning resource of interactive certification-based learning. ALISON stands for Advance Learning Interactive Systems Online. The learning is provided free of charge to individual learners.

The mission of ALISON is to enable anyone, anywhere, to educate themselves for FREE. Through ALISON, the cost-barrier to learning can be removed.

Through the ALISON Learning platform we can assist people around the world in educating themselves, thereby creating a more equitable and sustainable global society.

Alliance for Animal Rights

Alliance for Animal Rights [AFAR] is a Dublin based Animal Rights group established since 1989.

We actively campaign on issues such as Fur Farming, Greyhound Racing,Veganism, Vivisection and Blood Sports.

We perceive Veganism as the moral baseline of the animal rights position.

We reject violence to all sentient beings.

 
We promote  activism in the form of direct action, vegan education and the exposure of animal violations and injustices

In other words  ‘we agitate, liberate and educate’

Alpha Jobs

Alpha Jobs is a recruitment agency based in Dublin, Republic of Ireland. We are dedicated to recruiting health and social care professionals who practice in line with the National Standards and best principles in care practices. Alternatives to Violence Project

The Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP) is a dynamic international organisation, with a network of skilled volunteers in Ireland, offering members of our communities who have experienced violence a unique experiential learning environment, where they share, learn and develop peace building skills to live a life of non violence. In Ireland, AVP mainly runs its programme in prison to help inmates live crime-free lives. 

 

Altruism Ireland

Altruism Ireland is a technological charity and our primary purpose is to reduce the high costs associated with fundraising by delivering a free platform for fundraising and donating; building trust into charity-giving through introducing transparency metrics into the charity sector; and offering free digital education to Irish charities to help them take advantage of the opportunities offered by new innovative technologies.

Alzheimer Society

The Alzheimer Society is a national organisation with branches throughout Ireland.

Each branch can provide information and emotional support to families and carers.

Day Care and Home Support/Home Care is also co-ordinated by the local branch committee.

The Alzheimer Society of Ireland has set up a National Helpline which is, first and foremost, a listening ear for the thousands of carers of people with Alzheimer's Disease or a related dementia who call for information and support every year.
