Manager

The overall aim of the South Western Regional Drug and Alcohol Task Force CLG (SWRDATF) is to bring together a range of community and voluntary organisations and groups, statutory agencies, service users and other relevant stakeholders in order to address the causes and consequences of drug and alcohol misuse in the Kildare /West Wicklow area.

The Manager will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and reviewing the local drug and alcohol strategy. This proactive position involves driving the company's work and managing daily operations, including financial and administrative oversight, staff supervision, and ensuring corporate governance and compliance.

The successful candidate will have a relevant third level qualification (minimum Level 7) and have at least three years’ experience in the field of addiction, youth work, community development or a related field. They should have good track record in building and nurturing key relationships and partnerships with a wide range of diverse collaborators within government and not for profit sectors at national and local level. A proven track record of managing staff and overseeing financial management and governance is essential. This includes significant experience with multi-funded, interagency projects.
Excellent IT and communications skills are essential with a proven ability to work on their own initiative.

A three-year fixed term contract will be offered with a six-month probationary period.
Salary will be commensurate with experience within a range from €62,500 to €72,000 p.a.
