Chef Manager – Northside Family Resource Centre Kitchens

Location: Northside FRC, Limerick 
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (37.5 hrs/week) 
Salary: €38,507 p.a.

Who We Are

Northside Family Resource Centre champions families, individuals and children across Limerick. We deliver vital community services—from Meals on Wheels to afterschool clubs—and now we’re looking for an inspired Chef Manager to lead our catering into its next chapter.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee daily operations for our Childcare Services, Afterschool Clubs, Meals on Wheels and more
• Plan and deliver nutritionally balanced menus, engaging target groups in menu development
• Mentor and train Community Employment workers, trainees, student placements and volunteers
• Manage food ordering, budgets and Health & Safety in line with Environmental Health standards
• Support business growth: identify new opportunities, report to the Board, expand service capacity
• Facilitate community veggie growing and food-poverty initiatives

Who You Are

• Qualified chef: recognised diploma or trade qualification in Catering
• Proven experience mentoring trainees in a supportive, flexible way
• Strong planner with excellent IT, communication and teamwork skills
• Energetic, adaptable and committed to social impact
• Comfortable working across two sites and varying schedules
