Location: Dublin 10, various locations, role includes home visits
Salary: Starting at c. €42,000 (pro rata, depending on experience)
Contract: 9-month fixed term, 21 hours per week

About the Role
Liffey Area Partnership CLG is seeking a Community Connector to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older people in Dublin 10 by supporting them to take control of their health and wellbeing.
Working closely with the HSE’s Integrated Care Team for Older Persons and alongside our Health, Inclusion, and Community Teams, you’ll provide tailored, person-centred support that promotes independence, wellbeing, and social inclusion.
What You’ll Do
- Work directly with older people, providing 1:1 support to encourage positive lifestyle and wellbeing changes and engagement in community supports and services
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with community and statutory organisations.
- Contribute to data collection, monitoring, and evaluation to measure impact.
- Champion the ethos of social inclusion and deliver services to the highest possible standard.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about empowering older people and supporting behaviour change.
- Qualified with a third-level qualification in Social Care, Health, Community Work, or a related field.
- Experienced in working with people experiencing marginalisation or social exclusion.
- Skilled in partnership working, relationship-building, and communication (written and verbal).
- Comfortable working both as part of a multi-disciplinary team and independently.
- Knowledgeable about the Cherry Orchard area and sensitive to the context of working with statutory agencies
