Three Vacancies: Communications Manager, Community Connector & Community Development Project Officer (Gaeltacht)
Donegal Local Development CLG (DLDC) is an integrated local development company established in 1995. We deliver multiple external funded programmes to the Donegal community. DLDC is now inviting applications for three roles within our team. Details of the three opportunites are sumarised below:
- Communications Manager will lead the development and delivery of integrated communication strategies to raise awareness of DLDC work in the community, strengthen relationships with stakeholders, and highlight the our impact across the county. This is a hands-on role that combines strategic communication planning with day-to-day delivery across digital, media, and traditional channels. A recognised and relevant Third Level qualification and a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in Journalism, PR or Communications function. This is an indeterminate contract, subject to continued funding.
- Community Connector will play a central role in engaging directly with communities hosting IPA’s across the Donegal catchment area to support understanding, address local concerns, and promote community resilience. A recognised and relevant Third Level qualification and / OR equivalent relevant training and related professional experience. A minimum of 3 years direct experience working with marginalised individuals and/or communities impacted by poverty, exclusion and disadvantage. Fixed Term contract of 18 months subject to funding.
- Community Development Project Officer (Gaeltacht) required to work as part of the team delivering SICAP Goal 1, engaging with community groups and representatives to provide advice, mentoring, development support, and training workshops. A recognised and relevant Third Level qualification and /OR minimum of three years’ relevant work experience in the area of Community Development. The role is fixed term and funded to 31 December 2028.
