The South Inner City Drug and Alcohol Task Force (SICDATF) invite tender proposals for the delivery of actions under the Cocaine and Crack Cocaine – A Health-Led Approach Project (CCCHLA).

Scope of Work

The successful applicant, in collaboration with SICDATF addiction service providers and individuals in addiction recovery, will conduct a Peer Participant Study, with a particular emphasis on people using cocaine and crack cocaine. This study will focus on mapping existing peer participation roles, documenting lived experiences, benchmarking approaches with similar programmes, and developing pathways for peer participants to transition into leadership roles, supported by structured training, mentoring, and practical involvement in service delivery.

2. Key Requirements of Applicants

  • Co-production with peers in recovery
  • Trauma-informed approach underpinned by IHREC principles
  • Cultural competence, innovation, and partnership
  • Relevant experience in community-based addiction work and editorial capacity

3. Contractual Details

  • Indicative budget: €10,000 inclusive of VAT
  • Duration: October – December 2025
  • Location: South Inner City Dublin
  • Applicants must provide relevant insurance and disclose any conflicts of interest

4. Reporting & Management

  • Report to SICDATF Management Liaison Group
  • Provide regular progress updates
  • Deliver a final report with a presentation to SICDATF and stakeholders

5. Application Process

  • Submit a proposal including:

    3. Methodology and Approach – engagement, co-production, and research methods
    4. Project Plan – timelines, milestones, and deliverables

    6. Team Composition – personnel, roles, and responsibilities
    7. Budget and Costing – breakdown including VAT
    8. References – at least two relevant projects/clients
