Part-Time Project Support Worker
Organization: Carlow Women’s Aid (CWA)
Working Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday 9- 5pm
Location: Carlow
Reporting to: Manager
Carlow Women’s Aid is seeking a compassionate and motivated Project Support Worker to join our dedicated team.
About the Role
As a Project Support Worker, you will help deliver CWA’s frontline services, including:
- Providing information, support, and advocacy to clients at CWA
- Offering court accompaniment and outreach support
- Providing outreach and programs to the emergency safe house services
- Maintaining accurate case records including use of necessary CRM software.
- Help line and reception duties
- Attendance at local interagency meetings as required.
What We’re Looking For
- We welcome applications from individuals who are empathetic, non-judgmental, and committed to supporting women and families. Strong communication and good organization skills will be a distinct advantage.
Essential Criteria
- Third level qualification in Social Care or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a client facing role in the not-for-profit sector
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstration of teamwork in addition to using own initiative
- Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills
Desirable criteria
- Experience working in domestic violence or a related area
- Knowledge of working with a Solution Focus (BRIEF) approach
- Experience of building relationships with stakeholders
