About TASC
TASC is a Dublin-based independent think tank dedicated to tackling inequality and strengthening democracy by translating research into action. As a public education charity, we conduct research and public outreach on inequality, democracy, and climate justice in Ireland and the EU. Our work aims to enhance public understanding of economic and social policy, improve working conditions, and support a just transition to climate action.
The Role
TASC is seeking a Public Education and Communications Fellow to help amplify our mission of advancing social equality by raising public awareness of progressive policy solutions. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about social change and eager to gain hands-on experience in policy communications or the think-tank sector.
Key Responsibilities
1. Expand Public Awareness for Progressive Policy Solutions
- Help conceptualise and execute strategic plans to broaden public awareness of TASC’s work.
- Translate complex research findings into accessible insights.
2. Communications & Content Creation
- Develop engaging content for TASC’s social media, website, and newsletters.
- Help craft clear, accessible messaging to enhance TASC’s public engagement.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency in brand tone and messaging.
- Work with staff when communications and social media need to be integrated into project development and delivery.
3. Visual Content Development
- Support researchers in developing and designing informative visual materials, including videos, infographics, reports, and digital media assets.
- Ensure visual content aligns with TASC’s brand identity and mission.
4. Event Support
- Assist in organizing and promoting conferences, workshops, and webinars.
- Develop promotional materials to maximize event attendance.
- Support event logistics and coordination.
Who We’re Looking For
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Currently studying or holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field, OR at least 3 years of experience in a relevant role.
- Proven experience in communications, marketing, or event coordination.
- Proficiency in Canva.
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English (Irish or other European languages are a bonus).
- Ability to film and edit video content.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
- A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive mindset.
- A passion for social justice and TASC’s mission.

- Compensation: €14.75 per hour (Irish living wage).
- Location: Hybrid working options available, though successful candidates must be able to support events in Dublin.
