WANTED: Social Media Manager
(freelance contract)
9-10 hours per week, 10 mths p.a. Freelance Contract. National role. Remote working / Limerick office. Professional payrate. Experience required.

Role of Social Media Manager
The role will entail:

- Posting content online and sharing and promoting on social media.
- Building our online presence and engagement with followers/readers.
- Video, editing & production skills, especially using video software for social media output.
The ideal candidate is expected to have:
- At least three years’ experience in social media and quality online storytelling.
- Relevant social media knowledge and skills to help us grow our audience.
- Social media software skills, especially with regards to photo and video editing.
- Knowledge or experience of the value of community development.

Changing Ireland has been in operation since 2001 and this work is important to our impact and growth. Note that as a community-based media organisation the work is subject to continuing funding. Conversely, the work hours may grow (in co-operation with the successful candidate).
Changing Ireland Community Media CLG receives core-funding from the Department of Rural and Community Development and earns some social enterprise income.
