We are now seeking a dedicated Care Manager to lead and grow our Cork branch.

About the Role

As the Care Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of care services, staff supervision, and business development for the Cork office. Working closely with senior management, coordinators, and supervisors, you will ensure that all care packages are managed effectively, while continuously enhancing the quality and reach of services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of care delivery across the branch
  • Grow service capacity by onboarding new care packages and expanding local coverage
  • Oversee staff recruitment, scheduling, supervision, and performance management
  • Maintain compliance with HIQA standards and national care regulations
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure quality and safety of care
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, families, HSE representatives, and other external stakeholders
  • Update and implement internal policies in line with national best practices
  • Provide leadership, training, and ongoing support to the care team

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications in Social Care, Healthcare, or Business (bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of management experience, with at least 2 years in a healthcare or social care setting
  • Strong understanding of HIQA Standards and other regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Proven track record in staff management, service improvement, and business development
  • Full clean driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
