Claremorris Family Resource Centre: Community Support Worker
Claremorris Family Resource Centre invites
applications for the post of:
Community Support Worker – 4 days per week
The Community Support Worker will work with the Centre’s Voluntary Management Committee and Project Co-Ordinator to support new and existing
communities integrate in Claremorris.
The ideal candidate should have:
- A relevant third level qualification-Minimum level 8 or equivalent (e.g, Community Development or Social Care, etc.)
- A minimum of 2 years relevant experience:
- working in a community-based setting
- working through a community development approach with individuals and groups
- Familiarity with child safeguarding best practice
- Experience of:
- working collaboratively with groups and organisations
- strategic planning and programme development
- managing budgets and accessing funding
- group work and facilitation
- High standard of report writing & IT skills, specifically in Microsoft office applications
