SENIOR FINANCE OFFICER

We now have an exciting opportunity to work with us as a full-time Senior Finance Officer in our Wexford office with the Finance Team. The successful candidate will be required to work closely with the Finance Manager. We are looking for an experienced, and resourceful person, with excellent IT skills.
The ideal candidate for the position of Senior Finance Officer will have:
- A part qualification in Accountancy or be a qualified Account Technician prepared to undertake further study;
- 5 years’ experience in a finance/accounting role;
- Proficient in the use of accounting software and other IT applications including MS office suite.
Additional but non-essential attributes would be:
- An understanding of the not-for-profit or public sector;
- Supervisory or team leader experience;
- Knowledge of SORP accounting;
The position is being offered on a full-time basis 35 hours per week. The position is based in WLD’s offices, Spawell Road, Wexford,(Hybrid working option available). The salary for this position will be within the range of €46,279 to €50,477 (Depending on Experience).
