NWC is currently recruiting for a

Social Prescribing Project Lead

This is a critical time for women’s rights. As the leading representative organisation for women and women’s organisations with almost 200 member groups across the island of Ireland, we are at the forefront of campaigning for women’s rights and equality.

We are now recruiting a Social Prescribing Project Lead to coordinate and project manage an 18-month Equality Proofing Project evaluating HSE-funded social prescribing sites.

This Equality Proofing Project aims to improve access to social prescribing for women who are currently underserved – particularly young women, older women, and women from minority ethnic and other marginalised communities. This aligns with NWC’s commitment to ensuring that health services are inclusive, equitable, and responsive to the diverse needs of women throughout their lives. This is an exciting opportunity to shape feminist health policy and drive systemic change through project management, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration with our diverse membership and civil society partners.
