Programme Manager
Youngballymun (YB), along with our partners, implements a strategy of integrated, evidence-based supports for children, young people and families. YB is part of the Area Based Childhood (ABC) Programme, which is a prevention and early intervention programme that seeks to invest in effective services that improve outcomes for children and families living in areas of disadvantage. It has a particular emphasis on improving health, educational and social outcomes for children and young people, and on improving the effectiveness of existing services for them.
Youngballymun is looking to employ a Programme Manager to work alongside the Director and support the overall development of the organisation. We are looking for an experienced, energetic, confident and pro-active individual with excellent written, verbal and inter-personal communication skills and with the ability to work independently and show initiative.
The post is for 28 hours per week
Key areas of work include:
- Working with the Youngballymun Board and team on the development of the new five year strategic plan.
- Provide supervision, coaching and support to the Youngballymun multidisciplinary programme staff team.
- Provide case management support and oversight to the Infant Mental Health practitioner team and oversee the IMH programme standard operating procedures
- Reporting on and documenting work as it is progressed.
Essential Criteria:
- Recognised third level qualification in Management, Education, and Social Science, Allied Health Professional qualification or equivalent.
- Extensive knowledge, understanding and experience of project management.
- Strategic planning expertise and experience
- Experience of case management in teams providing direct support to infants, children and families.
