In Sync Youth & Family Services is a dynamic voluntary organisation dedicated to working with young people and families within their local communities. In Sync is committed to the provision of quality innovative youth services through an integrated multi-disciplinary approach. We are seeking dynamic, creative youth workers to add value to our existing vibrant youth work team.

Applicants must demonstrate in their application form that they have experience of:

  • Working directly with young people in a paid capacity.
  • Developing and implementing individual and group-based targeted intervention programmes for young people, using evidence based models of practice.
  • Developing youth groups and services for young people, through recruitment of young people, programme development, training, face-to-face youth work and other methods.
  • Establishing, developing and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders in the catchment area to enhance the targeted response to young people.
  • Implementing agreed annual plan, reporting on the work to the relevant stakeholders, and evaluating your work.

Applications should have:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience of Youth and/or Community work in a professional paid capacity.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A clear understanding of Youth Work, Youth Justice Work, and/or Integration Youth Work practice and values.
  • A level of competency in group work and one-to-one work with young people.
  • A professional qualification in Youth/Community Work, Youth Justice Work and/or a directly related field.
  • A full clean driving license, own transport and a willingness to work unsocial hours.
