Project Worker - Janus Project - Galway/Roscommon area - (ROI48/04/24/2V-1)
Salary: €38,248 per annum pro rata. Grade 4 scale
Hours: 37.5 hours (inclusive of breaks).
Contract Status: Permanent.
Locations: Galway & Roscommon areas
About the Service:
The Janus programme aims to prevent reception into care and/or to support community or foster placements. The programme also aims to support young people returning to the community from residential care/ custody. The Janus Worker provides individually tailored support to young people with complex needs and whose behaviour places them at high risk. These young people can be categorised as Hardiker level 3 & 4. Programme content is based on meeting specific individual needs through the development of pro-social behaviours, resilience, and positive community interactions by engaging them positively in their local community. The programme/s are creative and dynamic, utilising local, regional, and national resources to facilitate intervention strategies. Planned and responsive respite provision is integral to the programme/s delivery.

Project Worker - Timeout - Galway/Roscommon (ROI47/04/24/IV-1)
Salary: €38,248 per annum pro rata.
Hours: 37.5 hours (inclusive of breaks) Time Out – hours are delivered flexibly on a rostered basis over 3/4 days in a 7-day week, including 2 overnights per week on average. .

About the service:
The Extern Time Out Service in Galway Roscommon assists service users by improving the quality of their lives within their community by promoting wellbeing, independence and healthy life choices. The Time Out programme meets the needs of service users and their families by providing respite (alternative to placement in short-term and/or long-term care) by way of planned, responsive and/or emergency overnights to facilitate a social, educational, cultural, and recreational break at an Extern approved facility.
