Dedicated to the spiritual and cultural heritage of Venerable Patrick Peyton C.S.C., the Peyton Centre seeks an experienced leader to manage and grow our visitor centre and retreat house services. Located in Atymass, Co Mayo, the Centre provides insight into the inspiring journey of Father Peyton, the internationally renowned Catholic priest from Co. Mayo, who spread the message of family prayer and peace to millions worldwide. Set among beautiful gardens and picturesque hills, the Centre provides a perfect setting for prayer and spiritual reflect on while also meeting the social and spiritual needs of the people of North Mayo.

Reporting to and working with the Executive Director, Holy Cross Family Ministries Ireland, Centre Manager:

• Maintains and develops the Centre’s facilities to improve the visitor and retreat experience;
• Manages the Centre staff, resources and budgets;
• Co-ordinates events, retreats and visitors;
• Co-ordinates regular services to the local community.

The successful applicant will have:

• Proven experience in managing/coordinating people-centred services and operations;
• Strong people management skills and supervisory experience, and;
• A working knowledge of community services and potential funding sources.
