Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy

If you are looking for a therapist you can trust, then you have come to the right place. All the therapists listed in our directory are fully qualified and experienced practitioners. In order to be accredited by us, therapists must have completed a comprehensive course of training as well as a minimum of 500 hours of supervised practice.

Our members have signed up to and are bound by the Code of Ethics and Practice of IAHIP and are subject to the IAHIP complaints procedure.

We set and maintain the standards of relevant psychotherapy training and practice in Ireland and we represent humanistic and integrative psychotherapy at national and international levels.

We keep a register of all accredited practitioners and supervisors and promote the provision of training and education in humanistic and integrative psychotherapy.

The Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy was formed in 1992 as a non-profit association to represent Humanistic and Integrative psychotherapists in Ireland. In 1994, the IAHIP became a company limited by guarantee (CLG), and is one of the four psychotherapy sections of the Irish Council for Psychotherapy.
