The BJC is a co-operative society and its objectives and powers are:

To inform, advise and support any individual or group in Ballymun who wants to engage in work, be that paid employment, self-employment, or voluntary.

To foster, co-operate with and where necessary, co-ordinate all initiatives in Ballymun that promote or maintain employment.

Carrickmacross Workhouse

Farney is a collective term for five parishes in South Co. Monaghan, bordering the counties of Armagh, Louth, Meath and Cavan. It has a population of approximately twenty thousand, with Carrickmacross is its principal town.

On 16 June 1993, as a response to the need in Farney for socio-economic reconstruction, twenty-eight voluntary community groups came together to form an umbrella group that would be located in Carrickmacross and Farney Community Development Group.

Through one-to-one support we work with you to identify suitable employment and where necessary, find training and education programmes that will prepare you for the workforce.

Dublin South Supported Employment

Dublin South Supported Employment (DSSE) provides a service to people with disability in the south Dublin area. DSSE is a programme supported by FAS, which accesses mainstream employment, both part-time and full-time, for people with disabilities, based on their choice, needs and abilities.

Supported Employment enables people with disabilities to be employed in paid jobs in the open labour market. People with a wide range of disabilities have become employed using the Supported Employment Model.

Dundalk Local Employment Service

At the core of this service, is an ethos of offering a "client centered", flexible approach which is tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Through the process of one to one career guidance, each client is assisted to draw up a career plan and to implement it.

Our service is completley free and confidential to you if you have been unemployed for one year or more and if you live in the Dundalk Urban Area.
