Victim Assistance

Victim Assistance is a voluntary organisation founded in 2005, that offers a range of services designed to assist victims and those that have experienced a traumatic incident, in coping with the effects of crime and trauma. Our service is also available to victim’s family members. We work closely with in association with the various Garda Victim Services offices throughout the country along with other charities/organisations to provide confidential support to victims

All our volunteers are fully trained and are Garda Vetted.

Victims from all counties can avail of our services and we can be contacted directly and in confidence at any time on our NATIONAL FREEPHONE HELPLINE 1800 277 477 or during working hours at 094 9000251. You can also email us at support@victimassistance.ie.

Since coming into being, Victim Assistance has helped 1000’s of victims and we continue to do so daily. We work tirelessly on behalf of the victim and are uncompromising in our efforts to ensure victims recover after crime or traumatic incident.
