Clare Haven Services, is a voluntary organisation which provides a wide range of support services to women and children subjected to domestic abuse. Clare Haven Services promotes the rights of women and children to live and grow in a peaceful, non-violent home environment.
We are currently recruiting for the following position:
Refuge Liaison
Location: Clare Haven Services, Ennis, Co. Clare.
Reports to: Manager of Services.
Purpose of the Role
The refuge Liaison will support the day to day running of the refuge to ensure a safe, welcoming and well-maintained environment for residents. The role includes oversight of Clare Haven refuge buildings & operations, liaison across teams, providing IT & data support, health and safety compliance. The Refuge Liaison will work collaboratively with colleagues and relevant external partners to support the effective delivery of services.
Contract Status: Fixed Term part-time Contract for 18 months.
Hours of Work: 25 hours per week. The hours will be based on a 5 day working week and will include afternoons, evenings and occasional weekend work.
Salary: €40,987 per annum (pro rata, based on hours worked)
Successful applicants must have
A relevant qualification in social care, community development, administration, facilities management or related field.
And
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role involving co-ordination, administration or facilities oversight.
Skills and Abilities
- Experience working in a trauma informed, client centered environment, preferably within the community or voluntary sector.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamworking skills.
- Excellent I.T. Skills and a willingness to undertake training in internal systems (eSafe, network )
- Ability to plan and organize as part of a multi-functional team
- Understanding of confidentiality, GDPR and practices in social care or supports services.
Other Requirements
- Garda Vetting is mandatory.
- Full clean driving licence and access to own transport is desirable.
