Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a team of employees and volunteer assistants to ensure the well-being and comfort of all residents.
  • To ensure the house complies with HIQA standards.
  • Uphold the values and ethos of L’Arche in all interactions and decision-making processes.
  • Foster a culture of respect, inclusion, and community integration.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in social care (Level 7 minimum), healthcare, or a related field.
  • Eligible for registration with CORU/Registered with CORU
  • Previous experience in team leadership and excellent organisational skills.
  • Knowledge and experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • Familiarity with HIQA requirements and national standards for residential services.
  • Commitment to promoting community integration and active citizenship for people with disabilities.
  • Valid clean driving licence.
