Ballyfermot Chapelizod Partnership

The BC Partnership was set up in 1996 as a response to long term unemployment and poverty. In 2014 , the BC Partnership became Programme Implementers of a new local development programme named the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP). The aim of SICAP is to reduce poverty and to promote social inclusion. The BC Partnership are now contracted to deliver SICAP as programme implementers, and with the support of our Board, the local community, our local stakeholders, the Local and Community Development Committee we will manage the programme under the three national programme guidelines.

BCP Mission

Ballyfermot Chapelizod Partnership will work with and act as an advocate on behalf of the community of Ballyfermot Chapelizod to enhance the social and economic development of the area and thereby increase education, employment and life options for local people. Ballyfermot Chapelizod Partnership will work collaboratively with community and statutory agencies to ensure that individuals who are distanced from opportunity due to marginalization are supported to reach their full potential. In implementing its vision and mission statements Ballyfermot Chapelizod Partnership has developed a values framework which sets out a number of practice principles to guide decision making.
