FLAC (Free Legal Advice Centres) is an independent human rights organisation dedicated to the realisation of equal access to justice for all. It campaigns through advocacy, strategic litigation and authoritative analysis for the eradication of social and economic exclusion.
We operate a number of centres around the country (list available on our website). The clinics are confidential, free of charge and open to all.
There are no application forms and no appointments to make - just come along and you'll be seen on a first-come / first-served basis.
The clinics are operated by qualified lawyers who volunteer their expertise and time.
In terms of research and campigning, FLAC currently concentrates its work on three main areas:
- Legal Aid,
- Social Welfare and
- Credit & Debt.
