  • 17.5 hours (Part-Time)
  • Salary for this position is negotiable, commensurate with experience and will be no less than €39,152 per annum(pro rata). (Salary Rates are subject to agreed WRC increments for section 56 workers with phased increments in 2025 & 2026)

Connect Family Resource Centre engages with the community of Moneymore and surrounding area to encourage families and individuals to reach their full potential and to build a healthy, vibrant and proud community.

The successful candidate will be expected to have:

  • A recognised third level qualification (minimum Level 7) in one of the following: Social Care, Family Support Practice, Community Development or another relevant qualification
  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience of providing family support in a community-based setting
  • An understanding of community development approach & family support principles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong networking skills and experience and the ability to work with a range of community, voluntary and statutory agencies
  • Demonstrate a strong teamwork ethic and the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Possess good leadership and facilitation skills.
  • Experience of delivering Evidence based parent support programmes
  • Experience of making funding applications.
  • Excellent IT, social media and report writing skills
  • Access to own transport and a full clean driving licence
  • Evening and weekend work may be required
