The Cork Alliance Centre works with people who have been in prison. The Centre supports people make a fresh start, both in terms of reducing offending and increasing positive participation in individual, family and community life.

This rewarding role offers an enthusiastic and self-motivated person the opportunity to support the operations of the Cork Alliance Centre and therein assist people in their transition from prison to the community as they move away from offending towards engaging positively in their own life and with family /community. The Administrator will be committed to the values and mission of the Cork Alliance Centre and will demonstrate this through their interactions with others, and how they approach their work.

Ideally the successful candidate will

  • have at least 3 years’ experience in general administration, including a high level of proficiency IT skills in MS Office, payroll and ability to adapt to new software.
  • be highly organised and effectively handle multiple tasks and manage deadlines, have good attention to detail, good interpersonal skills and be open to learning and developing new skills.
  • have experience in administering Health and Safety policies, practices and systems.
  • have understanding of data protection, GDPR and experience in administering information management systems.
  • have high professional standards, be self-motivated and be able to work on their own initiative as well as being part of a team.

The role is primarily based in our Cork office.
