Job Title: Finance and Administration Officer

OLOL CSG CLG is recruiting for the part time, permanent position of a Finance and Administration Officer. The Finance and Administration Officer will be based at our Centre and report to the Finance and Administration Manager. This role will offer the successful candidate an opportunity to contribute to the effective and efficient running of the finance function of our organisation and to further develop their own career.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Processing weekly payroll including maintaining employee records, issuing payslips, filing returns with Revenue via ROS, processing online bank payments and dealing with payroll queries from staff and other third parties such as funders
  • Administering accounts payable, accounts receivable and banking functions
  • Undertaking other duties that may be assigned by the Finance and Administration Manager

Person Specification

Essential

  • Experience of processing payroll for a minimum of one year
  • Experience in a finance and administration role for a minimum of one year
  • Computer literacy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work with a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative

Desirable

  • Experience in the use of Brightpay Payroll Software
  • Experience in the use of accounting software (Sage Accounts in particular)
  • Experience/Interest in the Community, Voluntary and Charity Sector

Terms

The post is for 8 hours per week, to be worked on Monday/Tuesday. The rate of pay is €14.50 - €16.50 per hour depending on experience. Working hours and arrangements will be agreed with the successful candidate.
