Childcare Manager

Tots to Teens is looking for a manager who is passionate about childcare and seeking to build strong relationships with parents to ensure the best outcome for the children.

Requirements:

• Min. Level 7 or higher in Early Childcare Education and Care or equivalent.
• Relevant Management Experience
• Ability to implement change in an orderly and determined manner.
• Excellent Organisational skills

The Ideal Candidate:

• Ability to lead, motivate and work well with a dynamic team.
• Good communication skills
• Good HR skills
• Understanding of Aistear, Siolta, NCS, ECCE, and CCSP and knowledge of HIVE.
• Ability to adopt a child-centered approach, showing knowledge of child development and its application to practice.

Duties Include but are not limited to:

• Regularly reviewing policies and procedures
• Preparing monthly reports for the Board of Directors
• Engaging with stakeholders including the voluntary Board of Directors
• Ensure efficient day-to-day running and management of a day service
• Ability to implement change in an orderly, determined manner.
• Leadership and Management experience with a strong emphasis on staff development.
• Allocating resources (staff and equipment) effectively.
• Overseeing the provision of high-quality care
• Show visible commitment to the purpose, mission and vision of the organisation
• Take initiative and be open to taking on new challenges and responsibilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay:  In line with ERO rates

Expected hours: 40 per week
