FamiliBase: AIM Practitioner x 2 and Early Years & After School Practitioner x 1

FamiliBase is a centre for children, young people and families based in Dublin 10. FamiliBase has three strands of service delivery i.e. Early Years and Afterschool, Child and Family and Youth and Community. FamiliBase operates an integrated model of practice. Programme delivery in FamiliBase occurs at different levels i.e. from universal level to intensive wrap around for those with multiple or more complex needs. FamiliBase could be described as a ‘one stop shop’ of supports for children, young people and families.

FamiliBase are seeking to recruit the following,

1 x AIM Practitioner 
Full Time

1 x AIM Practitioner 
Part Time Afternoon

1 x Early Years & After School Practitioner 
Full Time

Qualifications:

A recognised qualification, minimum FETAC/ QQI level 5 that is approved under the Early Years (Pre-school) Regulations.

Key areas of work:

  • To provide additional supports to allow target child/children to fully access the ECCE programme within an early years setting.
  • To liaise with parent with sharing of information on target child,
  • To ensure the target child is safe and their health is maintained during the preschool session.
  • To observe, plan and implement appropriate activities through a key worker system.
  • To ensure that the target child receives a quality experience within the environment.
  • To assist with other children within the preschool when needed and to provide support for them with development needs, interests and planned activities.
  • After School experience preferred for Early Years & After School Practitioner Full Time

Salary: Depending on experience and qualifications
