Applications are invited for the position of Manager of No 4 Youth Service.

Location: Galway City

Hours of Work: 30 hours per week.

Salary: €45,000

The Role

The Manager will support the Board of Directors in their responsibility for the good governance of the organisation. The Board will delegate the day to day management and operations of the organisation to the Manager. The Manager will ensure compliance with the organisation’s Policies and Procedures. The Manager will be responsible for all staff to include contract personnel. They will be expected to lead and motivate personnel in order to ensure the ethos and mission of the organisation is protected. They will also ensure that a quality and professional service is delivered to young people availing of the service. The Manager will hold responsibility for Child Protection as the Designated Liaison Person.

The Person

The Manager is required to have sound judgement and a strategic mind-set as well as a highly motivated, positive disposition. They must be innovative in all aspects of the role, have the highest levels of integrity, and a flexible attitude in response to organisational change and development. The Manager must have experience in researching grant opportunities, developing proposals, overseeing budgets, ensuring compliance and reporting on grant performance.

Applicants must have relevant degree qualifications.
3 years' experience working in a leadership/management role in an Youth/Community setting is essential.
