Early Years and school aged care Practitioner Required

• Rathfarnham based pre-school & after school service
• 20 – 40 hours per week
• Term Time working only but paid for 44 weeks
• Commencing the end of August 2025

Requirements:

• Minimum QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care & Education
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience
• Fluent English is essential
• Certified child protection training
• FAR and Manual Handling are desirable
• Works well as part of a team

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• To work across a range of age groups
• Liaise with parents/guardians of the children and keep them informed of their development
• Be flexible in your approach to the working environment and the requirements of the service
• Guide, observe, stimulate and supervise children in a safe and caring environment
• Be involved in the short and medium term planning in conjunction with our emergent curriculum
• Ensure all quality and safety standards are always maintained
