Future Foundations: Social Care Leader
Social Care Leader
Residential Service for Separated Children Seeking International Protection
Location: Cootehall, Roscommon – 10 minutes from Carrick on Shannon
Full-Time | Permanent (Shift Work incl. Nights, Weekends, and Sleepovers)
About the Service
We are a trauma-informed residential care service providing support to separated children seeking international protection (SCSIP) – unaccompanied minors who arrive in Ireland without a parent or guardian. These young people are among the most vulnerable in the care system, often having experienced war, trafficking, forced migration, and loss.
Our goal is to provide a safe, stable, and nurturing home where young people can begin to heal, integrate, and build a future. We work in close partnership with Tusla, legal services, NGOs, and education providers to support the rights and development of each child in our care.
