Tir Na Nóg Community Childcare Centre, Collooney, Co. Sligo are looking to recruit for the following positions:

Lead Educator and an Early Years Educator

Suitable candidates must be of a warm and caring nature, enthusiastic, ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team and have relevant experience. Candidates must also hold a minimum Level 5 qualification for Early years educator position and a minimum Level 6 qualifications for a Lead educator position however Level 7/8 is desirable.

These are fulltime positions, where educators are required to work 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.

We offer a minimum entry point of €13.39 - €15.97 with further competitive salary increments based on qualifications and years of service.

Skills / qualifications required:

• Suitable candidates must hold a minimum QQI Level 5 qualification (Level 6/7/8 desirable)
• First aid, Manual handling, Fire safety and Child protection training desirable but not essential
• Successful candidates must have the ability to work on their own initiative as well as working as part of a team
• Candidates must be of a kind, caring and affectionate nature working with young children
• Have previous experience
• Have knowledge and an understanding of Aistear / Siolta and childcare regulations
