CORE Youth Service: Community Youth Worker & Outreach Workers (Part Time) x 2
St Michael’s Parish Youth Project Ltd, t/a CORE Youth Service, is a community based youth work organisation working for the welfare, development & well-being of 10-24 year-olds in Inchicore, Dublin 8.
Core Youth Service is seeking 1 full time Community Youth Worker along with 2 part time Outreach Workers to work as part of the Youth Work team in a busy, demanding and dynamic youth work environment and to engage with people from a variety of backgrounds in innovative and needs based programmes. These posts are flexible and consists of day, evening and weekend work.
These positions require staff members that can engage young people, especially vulnerable and at risk young people, in one to one work, streetwork, outreach work, group work, mentoring, non-formal education programmes, advocacy, club based work and goal focused work. Other duties will include reporting on the work of the various programmes, interagency work, best practice & policy development.
