Empower is a local development company working across Fingal. We are State-funded and are responsible for a range of programmes to meet the needs of individuals, families and community groups in County Fingal. Empower deliver and services and programmes across Fingal in the areas of Community Development, Health and Wellbeing and Employment Support Programmes.

We are currently recruiting for the following position:

Tús Team Leader

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to fulfil the role of Tús Team Leader. The Tús initiative is a community work placement scheme providing short-term working opportunities for unemployed people. These work opportunities are hosted by community and voluntary organisations in both urban and rural areas. The Tús initiative is managed by local development companies and Údarás na Gaeltachta for the Department of Social Protection (DSP), which has overall responsibility for the scheme. The role of the Tús Team Leader is to support and facilitate participants and host organisations in the Tús Work placement programme.

Fixed Term Contract for 39 hours per week. Salary starts at point 1 €34,642 on the DSP1 Tús Team Leader Scale.

Position located in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15

Please note a full clean driver’s licence is essential for the role.
