Include Youth: Sessional Workers - Cavan / Monaghan
Include Youth is a rights based, Northern Irish based charity with over 40 years’ experience in working with care experienced young people and those from disadvantaged communities or whose rights are not being met. Include Youth Ireland is excited to be expanding and developing new services in the Republic of Ireland with our Give and Take programme.
We work to improve employability, personal and social development, enhancing inclusion, integration and good relations. Include Youth influence public policy led by the voice of children and young people, evidence-based practice and international children’s rights standards.
Include Youth’s FOR YOU Project is a new service being delivered in Cavan and Monaghan. It is a one-to-one support programme aimed at promoting the wellbeing of care experienced children and young people aged 4- 18 in Cavan and Monaghan. Using a person-centred holistic approach we use creative interventions to encourage resilience and personal development, supporting stability and relationships within their home. This is a flexible role with daytime, evening and weekend hours available.
Include Youth Ireland is currently recruiting for the following positions on its ‘For You’ Project: -
Sessional Workers based in Cavan / Monaghan area
Rate of pay: €22 per hour plus 65c per KM travel allowance
Working: Flexible - daytime, evening, weekends
The role of the Sessional Worker is to support young people to sustain their foster care placement. Young people will be offered an individually tailored programme based on identified needs. Sessional workers will be matched with young people based on interests and availability
