Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board is the state education and training authority for the Limerick and Clare region in Ireland. It is one of 16 statutory regional education authorities established by the Education and Training Boards Act 2013.

Limerick City and County Local Sports Partnerships merged to form Limerick Sports Partnership in January 2014.  The aim of Limerick Sports Partnership is “Getting Limerick Active” together with:

Lourdes Youth and Community Services (LYCS) is an integrated community development project based in Dublin's North East inner city. Marillac Housing Association was established to develop, manage and maintain social housing in the community for intellectually disabled persons who use the services of Avista which is a Section 38 disability service provider and a registered charity.

For over a decade Mark Pollock was known as an inspiration, an adventure athlete competing in the world’s harshest environments despite becoming completely blind at the age of 22.On the night of the 2ndof July 2010 everything changed again. He fell from a second story window fracturing his skull, some ribs and breaking his back in a number of places leaving him paralysed from the waist down.
