Job Type: Fixed Term Contract (4 days per week)
Salary Band: €55,000 to €65,000 per annum, commensurate with experience

Job Purpose:
The Clinical Coordinator will provide professional oversight and coordination of all counselling and psychotherapy services at Beacon of Light Counselling Centre. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, ethical, and compliant psychotherapy services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Provision:
- Provide professional and clinical oversight of all therapy support services.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance within current professional guidelines within an ethical framework. (IACP, IAHIP, etc.)
- Supervise counselling staff in a structured manner.
- Monitor clinical delivery through audits and intervene when necessary.
- Assist in the recruitment and induction of all counselling staff, including validation of professional qualifications.
- Maintain and implement effective operational procedures and service delivery protocols.
- Client Coordination:
- Coordinate client throughput, ensuring timely support and management of waiting lists.
- Deputise for the CEO during periods of absence.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Conduct regular audits and evaluations of clinical programmes.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Develop and implement programme protocols and procedures.
- Training and Development:
- Provide training and support to clinical and administrative staff.
- Facilitate staff meetings and coordinate training programmes.
- Communication and Liaison:
- Maintain communication among psychotherapy, counselling and administrative staff.
- Liaise with external partners and stakeholders to enhance programme services.
- Identify gaps in service and inform CEO and Board of any potential risks in this regard.
- Administrative Duties:
- Manage scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation for clinical programmes.
- Prepare reports and documentation for programme activities and performance.
- Monitor budget and financial performance of clinical programmes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualification in psychotherapy Level 8 and Clinical Supervision Qualification, minimum 5 years practising.
- Prior experience in a clinical coordination or management role.
- Certification in relevant clinical specialty, children and adolescents.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
