Leitrim Development Company wishes to recruit five positions for Social Farming for Peace & Integration (SoPI) a project supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

Leitrim Integrated Development Company CLG is a community led, grassroots NGO, local development organisation based in Co Leitrim and we are looking to assemble a team to deliver The Growing Together: Social Farming for Peace and Inclusion (SoPI) project approved by the SEUPB for measure 4.2 in the PEACEPLUS programme Investment Area 4.2 - Rural Regeneration and Social Inclusion Programme which aims to enhance and increase the use of social farms to deliver a peace dividend in three key areas: individual inclusion and integration in communities, cross-community and cross-tradition understanding, and cross border integration and activities. This four-year project involves four partners Leitrim Development Company (Lead Partner), Rural Support, Northern Ireland, University College Dublin and Queens University Belfast. Social farming is an outcome focused, support placement for people on an ordinary working farm using the natural assets of the farm and the farmer and surrounding community to support a person to achieve some of their own chosen goals.
Reporting to: The project lead in Leitrim Integrated Development Company CLG
Location: Based at the project offices in Co. Leitrim. Related travel requires a car owner with clean driving license. Some roles will be blended including elements of office, outreach, remote and homeworking.
Position: Fulltime 9am-5pm specified purpose contracts to end of August 2029
