Position Summary
Due to the expansion and growth of our organisation. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Services Manager to join our leadership team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of the organisation, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are consistently delivered while maintaining compliance with relevant regulatory and quality frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the operational delivery of services across the organisation, ensuring person-centred care and support.
- Supervise and support departmental managers to ensure effective team performance.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across the service.
- Develop, implement, and review policies and procedures to ensure compliance with HIQA and other regulatory standards.
- Oversee staff recruitment, development, training, and retention in collaboration with COO.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively in partnership with the finance Manager and COO.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and transparency.
- Support strategic planning and lead key organisational projects as required.
- Represent Kingsriver in external meetings and build strong relationships with stakeholders, families, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior management role in a health, social care, or disability service environment.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Strong knowledge of HIQA regulations and standards.
- Strong knowledge of HSE New Directions.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in strategic planning, change management, and project delivery.
- Relevant third-level qualification in social care, health management, or a related discipline.
- Full clean driving licence.
